Owner of an art gallery in Paris, Arthur Forestier represents Renzo Nervi, a radical figurative painter in the midst of an existential crisis. The two men have always been friends and even if everything opposes them, the love of art brings them together. Having failed to create for several years, Renzo gradually sinks into depression. To save him, Arthur hatches a daring plan that will eventually overtake them, while bringing them both back to the forefront of the artistic scene...
